Karlee Makely, Esq. is admitted to practice law in New Jersey and New York. She focuses her practice on representing community associations in a wide range of legal matters, including governance, contracts, enforcement, and other issues affecting the operation and administration of community associations.
Karlee graduated from Muhlenberg College with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and a minor in Political Science. She earned her J.D. from Rutgers Law School, where she interned with the Rutgers Office of General Counsel, gaining experience in transactional legal work. She also served as a student patent agent with the Rutgers Intellectual Property Clinic, assisting with intellectual property matters and developing a strong foundation in legal research and analysis. Her interdisciplinary education has given her a strong analytical foundation that she brings to her legal practice.
Prior to joining Polulak Law, Karlee developed experience in both transactional and litigation matters, practicing trial litigation and representing plaintiffs in workers’ compensation claims. This experience gave her valuable courtroom and advocacy skills, along with a strong command of navigating complex legal disputes on behalf of her clients.
